We are Swift Move, a removals company proudly based in London. Known for our reliable and professional moving services across the capital and beyond, we’re regularly tasked with large-scale removals that involve long distances and complex logistics. One such recent move required transporting a household from Southwark in London to a new property located in the East Midlands.
The client, whose new home was still undergoing renovations, needed their belongings stored safely near the destination before the final delivery could take place. Naturally, we were more than capable of collecting, packing, and delivering the items from London to a local storage facility near the new home. However, as with many long-distance moves involving storage, returning weeks later to complete the final leg of the job would have posed logistical challenges and added unnecessary cost to the client.
To ensure a smooth transition from storage to final delivery without compromise, we began searching for a reliable and professional local partner in the East Midlands who could pick up where we left off. That’s when we found Home Moovers, and we couldn’t have been more pleased.
From the very beginning, Home Moovers demonstrated the same high standards and customer-focused approach that we pride ourselves on. We were able to coordinate with their team seamlessly, ensuring the handover was smooth and every item was accounted for. The client’s goods were stored securely, and as soon as their new home was ready, Home Moovers stepped in to finish the job.
They arranged a suitable time with the client, collected everything from storage, and delivered all possessions carefully to the final address. Not only was the delivery completed without a hitch, but the client also commented on the professionalism and friendliness of the Home Moovers team — something we were delighted to hear.
Working with Home Moovers gave us complete confidence that our client was in good hands, even in our absence. For removals that require trusted local support on the other end, partnering with the right team is crucial. And in this case, Home Moovers proved to be the ideal solution.
If you’re ever seeking dependable Leicester Removals services, we can wholeheartedly recommend Home Moovers. Their local knowledge, efficient process, and dedication to customer satisfaction make them an excellent partner for cross-regional moves like ours.

Our collaboration with Home Moovers was an example of removals teamwork at its best.
