At Swift Move, we take pride in delivering stress-free removals for clients across London and beyond. Recently, we had the pleasure of completing a medium-sized removal for a client moving from Winchester to Richmond, and as always, our goal was to make the entire process as smooth as possible from start to finish.
A Complete Solution for Moving and Cleaning
Moving can be stressful, especially when there are multiple tasks to juggle before handing over the keys. In this particular case, our client wanted to ensure their former home in Winchester was left in pristine condition. This wasn’t just about being considerate to the next occupants—it was also essential to meet the stringent requirements of their tenancy agreement.
While our experienced team handled the physical move with care and efficiency, the client faced another challenge: organising a deep, professional clean after the property was emptied. Instead of leaving them to find a separate cleaning service, we stepped in to help by recommending one of our trusted partners—Gurkha Cleaning.
Why We Recommend Gurkha Cleaning
We’ve collaborated with Gurkha Cleaning on several occasions, and their reputation speaks for itself. Known for their attention to detail, reliability, and high standards, they are a preferred choice for clients who need end of tenancy or deep cleaning services. Their approach is simple yet effective: thorough, methodical, and tailored to each property’s needs.
For this job, once we completed the removal, the Gurkha Cleaning team arrived promptly and got to work. The service included a comprehensive clean from top to bottom:
- Kitchen: Degreasing appliances, cleaning cupboards inside and out, and ensuring all surfaces were spotless.
- Bathrooms: Descaling taps and shower heads, sanitising toilets, and polishing mirrors to a streak-free shine.
- Living areas and bedrooms: Dusting all surfaces, skirting boards, and light fittings, plus a thorough vacuum of carpets.
- Windows and doors: Cleaning both interior glass and frames for a fresh, bright finish.
The result? A property so clean it looked almost brand new—a perfect way for the client to leave their old home behind with confidence.
Why Cleaning Matters in a Move
Many people underestimate the importance of professional cleaning during a move, but it can make all the difference. Not only does it ensure compliance with tenancy agreements (helping secure deposit returns), but it also provides peace of mind. For homeowners preparing to sell, a spotless property can even influence potential buyers.
By offering clients a trusted recommendation, we help simplify what can otherwise be a stressful process. Instead of juggling multiple service providers, our clients benefit from a seamless, all-in-one solution for removals and cleaning.
Partnering for Quality
We’re proud to work with Gurkha Cleaning because they share our values: professionalism, reliability, and exceptional customer service. Their experienced team consistently delivers results that exceed expectations, and that’s why we have no hesitation recommending them to our clients.
